Year 9 Forward Thinking Trip to Birmingham University

On Tuesday 4th October Mr Gay and eight Y9 students caught the train from Kings Norton station to the University of Birmingham (the only university in the country with a train station on campus by the way!). They were off to take part in a subject taster day. The students had lectures in Chemical Engineering and Physiotherapy plus a talk from a research student who is continuing his studies in Maths. The students also got the chance to explore the whole of the university’s beautiful campus - 17,814 steps!

Thanks to all at Forward Thinking for the day and to the students who behaved impeccably. Well done Rylee , Abi, Gracie, Luliya, Serenity, Laura, Marie and Summer.
