Year 11 Geography Fieldwork in Kings Norton
On Thursday 7th November Year 11 Geography students participated in a local fieldwork activity in Kings Norton to help them prepare for their GCSE Geography Paper 3 examination. The students worked in small groups using primary data collection methods such as environment surveys and traffic counts to assess the challenges and opportunities facing people in the suburb. As part of the course requirements the students are developing their fieldwork and investigation skills which help prepare them for university dissertations and many future career paths they may wish to undertake.
Well done Year 11 and good luck in your trial exams over the next two weeks!
