Year 11 Core Exams

With the core exams finishing today, and just a few GCSEs left to sit next week, it is probably and appropriate time to praise this cohort of Year 11s, who have been so impressive during this exam period. They have gone into each exam feeling calm and prepared, and come out of each feeling relieved and positive, safe in the knowledge that they have done their very best. Our lead invigilator, who retires this year, gives me daily updates, full of praise, and described them as "the best retirement present".

I have been so fortunate to be their Head of Year and am delighted that I will be continuing with those who stay in Sixth Form. It's been a wild ride Year 11, but we made it! I hope you know how much you are known and loved at STACS.

Now looking forward to Sixth Form induction on July 2nd, Prom on July 5th and results day on August 22nd!
