Year 11 Aquinas Experience - Upton Warren Assembly
Thursday morning Year 11 celebrated the inaugural event that was the first Aquinas Experience which took place on the 11th November the day before their trial exams. The year group on the day worked in teams on various team building activities covering high ropes, crate stacking, 3G swings, low ropes, archery, kayaking, canoeing and orienteering. The assembly was an opportunity to reflect and appreciate many students for their fun, efforts, commitment and love of life they showed on the day. The smiles on the faces in the video was testament to the of successful day.
After watching the video team leaders from the day stepped forward to present individual students who deserved recognition if the form of a certificate and a much appreciated chocolate orange. We did not have time to present every single student however, they were not too disappointed as they all received a donut during afternoon registration. Well done to all students who committed themselves to the day and the activities with particular mention to Shauna, Josephine T, Kyle C, Connor Mc, Taylor D, Allan D S, Trish, Mya F, Victoria O, Caitlin F, Avni B, Sapphire TH, Lara, Mia, Victoria N, Joshua E. To acknowledge their sense of achievement, fun and friendship will be remembered for a very long time.
