Year 10 Retreat to Soli House

We had a variety of activities on our Year 10 retreat to Soli in Staffordshire. Biking and archery were our favourites. We also loved the trek where we stopped at a cafe for cakes and milkshakes.

Being split into groups with our team leaders was a good way to share about our faith. Our group leader was funny and we had good conversations. It helped us interact with people we didn’t know as well.

The Mass was beautiful in the church at Alton. The hymns were fun and the priest asked us what we’d learnt during the retreat.

The team who lead the retreat were young and were easy to speak to.

A bonus was also that we spent the first day at Alton Towers and I would recommend the trip to future year 10s. 

Year 10 students
