Warwickshire Lawn Tennis Association Success

Our very own Lola was awarded the WALTA (Warwickshire Lawn Tennis Association) Young
Person of the Year Award 2026. This award goes to a young person who has shown great
dedication to their local tennis club, and in particular to the Youth coaching programme over the last 12 months. Lola currently volunteers 3 times a week at Youth sessions, working with a mix of ages from 5-year-olds up to 10-year-olds.

She is a fantastic role model for the younger children, especially girls, and has a kind and approachable presence on court. She turns up to sessions each week, no matter the weather, normally arriving earlier than needed to have enough time to help set up courts, and shows initiative at the end of sessions, packing away equipment, even packing away equipment from sessions she was not part of!

We are so proud of Lola and all she does and achieves, what a fantastic role model to all our younger students here at STACS. Well done we are so proud of you Lola!
