Walk of Witness for Aid to the Church in Need

STACS Sixth Formers joined students from Bishop Challoner to take part in a Walk of Witness, raising awareness and funds for Aid to the Church in Need. We began the day with Mass at St. Dunstan’s, offered for those around the world who are not free to worship or practise their faith openly.

From St. Dunstan’s, we walked to St. Thomas Aquinas School—along roads, through woods, beside rivers, and along the canal towpath—in pouring rain. The challenging weather served as a reminder of the far greater hardships faced by many who strive to live their faith freely.

On reaching our destination, we concluded with a short service of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Despite the rain, the morning was filled with the warmth of friendship, companionship, and deep gratitude for the religious freedom we enjoy.
