Thank You Year 11 - Class of 2020

We can never be certain about the future. But what we can be certain of is that whatever the future holds, God will be with you in every situation. I am sure that the next few weeks and months will be challenging and difficult for everyone. In the face of setbacks and disappointments, never lose hope, and always have the courage to pursue your dreams. Never underestimate the contribution you have made to this school, your teachers, peers and especially your friends in your time here. Your fingerprints can’t be wiped away, you have all left little marks.

I'm so proud of each and every one of you Year 11 and even more so with how you have responded to the situation we find ourselves in at the moment.  So many of you have made positive changes, achieved personal goals or overcome challenges, all of which make you the young people you are.

There are so many different personalities within the year group, however, you're a year group who came into my care as young teenagers and you have now grown into young adults, who will move on to the next stages of your lives. I know you will each be successful in your own ways and I hope the friendships you have formed will stay with you and that you will always remember with fondness your time at STACS.

I know your tutors are so proud of you too and although we have all been on your case all year, I hope you know everything we did was for your benefit.

Wherever you move onto next year Year 11 – and I really hope that it’s here in our 6th Form and within our family, College or an apprenticeship - I wish you every happiness. Good luck and God Bless.
