Skiing Superstar
Adam has had a very successful skiing season, he has finished top three across multiple races, with a number of podium wins! Adam also achieved his aim of ending the 22/23 season and starting the 23/24 season as GB’s top ranked slalom skier (which is Adam’s strongest discipline) and is ranked second place overall across all the disciplines combined.
He has also made the qualification criteria for the Alpine Squad for the upcoming season.
Owing to Adam’s ranking in the ski table(s) and his podium / title successes, he has been identified as a promising athlete for future years because of his work ethic, concentration, behaviour and dedication – a true STACS student showing all our values and virtues. His coach has indicated that with his current rate of progression he could make the GB Europa Cup Squad by the time he is 18/19 which generally does not happen this early. Adam is not one to shout his achievements and potential from the rooftops, so we shall try and do that for him!
For the sponsorship aspect, he will be representing a ski brand (Kastle), Panda Optics (goggles and sunglasses), and has been spotted on GoPro Germany and GoPro UK. For the Kastle ski sponsorship, he is the first ever GB athlete of his age to be in this position.
We are immensely proud of Adam and all his hard work and wish him all the best as he continues to train through the summer and into next season where he will be juggling all this training and competing with his final GCSEs.
