Sports Results - Week Beginning 20th January

International Skiing

Adam and Emilia took part in a number of international races throughout December and January, representing Great Britain and St Thomas Aquinas Catholic School.

Adam was the overall fastest racer on the hill throughout the competitions for the “minis” which are boys and girls all under 13 years of age. This was an important set of races and has Adam ranked 1st in Great Britain. We are so proud of Adam and all his hard work to get him to this success.  

Emilia’s done exceptionally well after what has been a tough few months with illness. However, she is a true athlete and this did not deter her and she came 4th overall in the Alpine Combined races. These are different to what Adam races and are more challenging.

Both Emilia and Adam are a credit to themselves, their family and the school, showing that hard work and determination pays off whilst keeping up with their school work.
