Soli House - September 2023

On Tuesday 26th, a large group of year 10s school for the Soli House retreat. To start the trip off, there was a day of fun at Alton towers where we all got to go on rides, explore the park and watch the Oktober fest celebrations.

The second day included a walk around the hills and to a cute cafe where we all enjoyed some warm drinks and desserts. Later in the day we focussed on who we are and who God is for us.

On the third day, we participated in Mass which was a joyful celebration in the beautiful church, with another school.

The final day, we chose an activity: archery, a bike ride, or low ropes. The group split up and had fun at each respective activity. It was a great opportunity to team build. In the evening we had a game with singing, challenges and lots of fun.

In conclusion we all enjoyed the trip immensely. Thank you to the staff who gave up their time to take us.
