STEM Flight Workshops

This week we hosted Smallpeice Trust for two 2-hour interactive workshops as part of our innovative and extensive STEM programme. 138 of our Year 8 students designed and built their own wooden gliders on Monday 20th and Wednesday 22nd June. Over 100cm long, with wingspans of upto 95cm, the furthest of these scale models flew over 42metres. Fantastic team building across each laboratory as we put the 'E' for engineering in STEM.
