Our Head Boy Siyanda has raised over £200 for Aid to the Church in Need and to support the Sixth Form fundraiser, by cutting his braids off. Siyanda had been growing his hair for four years, so this was a big sacrifice to make for a very worthy cause. Well done Siyanda!

Sixth form Year of Jubilee Introduction

Some of our Sixth Formers who are going to Peru later in the year to work with communities in need attended a day at Bishop Challoner to mark the start if the Church's Year of Jubilee. Our students mingled with others from Bishop Challoner, Archbishop Ilsley & John Henry Newman Catholic Schools and they heard from asylum seekers who told us their stories of hope, and were so moved by some of the hardships they had faced. We also heard from Fr. John, a missionary priest who works in Peru and gave us some insights into what it is like there, and some of the things we have to look forward to.
