Asthma Friendly Schools

In December 2020, our school community sadly lost Jake 8-JP after complications from Asthma. In memory of Jake, the NHS was in school this morning delivering the launch of ‘Asthma Friendly Schools’. We are hoping from these sessions for students to volunteer to be ‘Asthma Champions’ to help promote health and share their learners with our MAC primary schools. This initiative may also lead to school being able to offer approximately 50 students the opportunity to become ‘NHS community researchers’ working alongside NHS staff.
