Aiming for a Grade 9

I was delighted to see so many of our Year 11 students (over 70 at the last count) in attendance this morning for our voluntary 'Aiming for a Grade 9 in English' Period Zero session from 7.45am.  Students were well fuelled with complimentary tea and toast before attentively listening to my lecture on the enduring relevance of A Christmas Carol in terms of Dickens' message for us to benevolently share what we have with those less fortunate than ourselves.  Well done Year 11! Committed Learners, Exceptional People.
