Newman
St. John Henry Newman, was born on February 21, 1801 in London, England and died August 11, 1890 in Birmingham. He was beatified on September 19, 2010 and canonized on October 13, 2019. His feast day is October 9. Newman was an influential churchman of the 19th century, who led the Oxford movement in the Church of England and later became a cardinal in the Roman Catholic Church.
He became a saint in 2019.
