The English Faculty prides itself on its excellent results in English literature and Language at all Key Stages.

These pages hope to give you an insight into some of the work that is going on in the faculty.

 

Key Stage 3 (Years 7-9)
Key Stage 4 (Years 10 + 11)

Key stage three is designed to give pupils a solid grounding for their GCSE years. They will study both literature and language through a number of different modules. To see examples of pupils work click the buttons below.

At Key Stage four all students are entered for GCSE English Language and English Literature. The course involves a number of exams and five pieces of coursework.

Sixth Form (Post-16)

The Faculty offers a range of very successful AS and A2 courses in Media, English Literature and English Literature and Language.
