Year 7 French Role-Play Competition at Birmingham Repertory Theatre

Having lunch at the most expensive restaurant in the area with no money to pay the bill without losing face? This was the difficult situation Billy and Samuel (2 young professionals) managed to overcome facing an intransigent Gabriel (the waiter) on Tuesday 10th July during the SWAN annual role-play competition at  Birmingham Repertory Theatre.  Billy, Gabriel and Samuel competed against 20 students from the South West Area Network on a café scene theme. The 3 Year 7 boys showcased their linguistic and acting skills in a 3 minute scene and won the competition with flying colours.

This year, it was a privilege to perform at Birmingham Repertory Theatre and experience a bit of theatrical life. A huge well done to Billy, Gabriel and Samuel for their hard work and commitment during the rehearsals and a big thank you to the Rep Theatre team for their warm welcome, to Laura Siviter and Dr Daniel Tyler-McTighe for organising the event.
