Year 11 Leaversí Mass

On Friday 11th May, Year 11 gathered together for the final time as a year group for their Celebration Mass before the exams begin. During the Mass, Year 11 reflected on their journey at St Thomas Aquinas School, thanking God for the opportunities and blessings received over the last five years and thinking about their futures.

Many thanks to all the students who took part in the Mass, to Mr Smith and the choir, Anna for her help in preparing for this special occasion and to Fr Cecil for celebrating Mass. Many thanks also to the numerous parents who attended.

After Mass, students showed their appreciation to their form tutors who have supported them over the past year and read messages of support from staff members.
Well done, Year 11, for your excellent behaviour during the Mass. I wish you all the best as you begin your GCSE exams. Remember that no problem is too big for God:

“For with God nothing shall be impossible.” Luke 1:37

Mr Miastowski
Head of Year 11
