Commissioning of Liturgy leaders

On Thursday 30th November, at lunch time, we gathered together in the chapel for a short service.  Mrs O’Driscoll our lay chaplain and Ms O’Malley had prepared the chapel with a red cloth and beautiful candles to make it look special and Mr Smith came to celebrate with us.

Ms O’Malley led a session on what it is to be a disciple of Jesus.  We looked at phrases like ‘frightened’ and ‘confused’  and how it isn’t always easy to admit to being a follower of Jesus.

Jessica C, Jessica S, Lia, Ellie, Tara, Caitlin, Ellena, Taysai, Rumbi and Sharon received a Lumen Christi badge to show they are liturgy leaders at St Thomas Aquinas. They are now looking forward to receiving their journals.
