Year 11 Human Geography Fieldwork at Kings Norton

On Wednesday 29th and Thursday 30th November Year 11 Geography students carried out their Human Geography Fieldwork element for their forthcoming exams. The students investigated Kings Norton as a suburb, exploring whether the area has the characteristics and features of a typical suburb as listed in the the concept of the Burgess model. Despite the cold weather, students embraced the task collecting data through a variety of methods to then use back in the classroom. The students conducted themselves in an excellent manner and were great representatives of St Thomas Aquinas.
