OFSTED Inspection, November 2018

Read about our school full of “articulate, courteous and polite” students who display “excellent attitudes to their learning”. This is a journey of school improvement and we have only just got started.

More House Mass

On Friday 10th March, More House gathered in the main hall for our House Mass. The theme was 'Hearts for justice' and students completed form displays on the themes of Freedom, Peace, Love, Charity and Unity.

Students from each form participated fully; some led on the readings, whilst others brought symbols of justice to the altar.  Fr. Emmanuel's homily reminded us of the importance of thinking of others before ourselves, and to be less selfish in our dealings with others.

A big 'Thank you' to the students who helped prepare the mass and participated in the readings and procession. I was immensely proud of you all.  Thanks also to Anna O'Driscoll, our new Lay Chaplain, who led the organisation and preparation and Mr Smith and the choir for providing the music and leading the singing. A shout out too to Phoebe, Isabel and Jake who received lessons from Fr. Emmanuel in how to fold fabric - they got there in the end but it was very entertaining to watch them struggle! Last but not least, huge thanks to arguably the best tutor team in school: Mrs Burley, Miss Browne, Miss Mortimer, Mr Robinson and Miss Walters who work so hard to provide the best care for the students of More House.
