UCAS Higher Education Exhibition

On Tuesday, Year 12 visited the UCAS Higher Education exhibition at the NEC. Students found out lots of information about the different courses on offer at the hundreds of universities across the UK, attended seminars and had the opportunity to explore other pathways after Year 13, including apprenticeships and careers.

The task for students now is to process this information and to continue their research into the summer holidays by attending university open days and writing their personal statements. During progression week later this term, students will be involved in a number of workshops to help them through the UCAS process to ensure they give themselves the best chance of success in securing a place at their preferred university and course at the end of Year 13.

Many thanks must go to Miss Clarke, Mrs Killingworth and Mrs Davies for their support on the day.

Mr Miastowski
Head of Year 12
