Read about our school full of “articulate, courteous and polite” students who display “excellent attitudes to their learning”. This is a journey of school improvement and we have only just got started.

Year 11 Leavers Mass

On Friday 8th May, Year 11 gathered together for the final time as a year group before they start their exams for their Celebration Mass. During the Mass, Year 11 reflected on their St Thomas Aquinas journey since joining the school in September 2010. We remembered the successes of the Year group; celebrated the friendships made and recalled the ‘moments of impact’ that have shaped our Year 11 students into the young men and women they have become today.

Many thanks to all the students who took part in the Mass through reading, the Opening Procession and the Offertory. A special thank you must go to Finn O’ Ryan, Scarlett Brown, Josh Vile, Ethan Young and Abigail Bunting who sang so beautifully during our Communion Reflection. Thanks also to Mrs Bentley and our lay chaplain Anne Marie for all their help in preparing for this special Year group Mass.

As always Year 11, I was so impressed with the way you conducted yourselves and the reverence and respect you showed throughout Mass – you are a credit to yourselves, your families and the school. Wishing you the very best of luck as you begin your GCSE exams!
