West Midlands County Football Semi Finalists !

Congratulations go to the Year 11 Boys Football Team for a tremendous victory on Thursday 26th January when they beat Shire Oak School in the Under 16's West Midlands County Cup Quarter Final.

In difficult playing conditions, both teams played extremely well. St Thomas Aquinas were 1-0 down at half time due to an own goal, but fought back bravely to win 2-1 with two excellent goals from Tory Herbert. As always, the team was ably led by their outstanding captain this season, Anthony Fletcher. Other notable performances were produced from Joe While, Michael Kenny and Jak Skerrett.

Well done to all the boys who took part, achieving, for the first time in the school's history, a place in the semi-finals of the Under 16's West Midlands County Cup.
