Sports Results (Week Beginning 18th July)

It was a great pleasure to complete the academic year with the whole school celebrating our sports awards and house competitions in the sports hall on the last day of term

During the ceremony we had a chance to remind ourselves of all the wonderful opportunities that take place over a very busy year at St Thomas Aquinas school.

Staff from the P.E. faculty and our P.E students spoke about a range of sporting highlights and progress over the year. To round off the ceremony Miss Jordan announced the sports day winners and more importantly which house won the house cup for the year.

We would like to thank the students who spoke during the ceremony. Thanks go to Hayley Hunter, Tegan Bates, Courtney Burley, Anthony Fletcher, Reece Chapman-Carry, John Duru, Joe While and Joshua Gannon all of whom spoke eloquently about the many successes achieved throughout the year.

Our year 12 students Colleen Murphy and Sian Skerrit demonstrated why they are such exceptional Irish dancers by performing outstandingly in front of an enthralled audience.

It was then the turn of Jordan Field to share his thoughts through An Ode to Physical Education and Sport at Aquinas. Thanks Jordan on some interesting viewpoints!
