Choir and Liturgy Trip to Bowling and Frankie and Bennys

On Thursday our Choir and Liturgy group were treated to a lovely day out to Hollywood Bowl followed by a 3-course meal at Frankie and Benny’s.

This was a reward for their continuing effort and the numerous performances that they supported this year. Events such as the carol service may seem a long time ago, but we had not forgotten all of their hard work.

We arrived at Hollywood Bowl at 11am and separated into teams. The whole group had great fun and it was lovely to see pupils from different year groups bowling together.

After bowling, we had time for some fun in the arcade. Mr Weekes challenged Ejirooghene to a match of air hockey; however, he failed to impress the choir as he lost 7-2 to Ejirooghene. Chris and Jordan had a match on the basketball machine, achieving 17 goals within a minute – very impressive!

On to Frankie and Bennie’s and a delicious 3 course meal! Students had a wide choice of food but the pizzas seemed to be the most popular. The sight of 30 chocolate brownies and ice cream being brought out on a big tray was enough to tempt Mr Weekes to a dessert even though he wasn’t going to have one!

The coach returned at 2:30 pm, and we arrived at school just in time to go home. A fantastic day for our fantastic choir! Anybody that has seen them perform, I am sure will agree they deserved it.
