Christmas Mass 2009

Our term finished today in the perfect way with our Christmas Mass when we came together as a whole school community. As with all of our whole school Masses, our Sports Hall, recently the venue for Year 11 Trial Examinations, was transformed in to a place of worship by the respect and prayerfulness shown by our pupils. The Christmas Mass is always a special celebration. The readings and prayers and the musicians and choir enabled us to reflect on this major feast of the Church. The meaning of Christmas was also remembered in the many hampers donated by the different form groups which were delivered to families in the community and the 140 shoeboxes which were also collected as part of Operation Christmas Child run by our Young Leaders.

Thank you to Father Stefan and all who made the celebration possible.

A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all at
St Thomas Aquinas Catholic School.
