St Columbas visit to Food Tech

On Tuesday 16th and Wednesday 17th June, 27 pupils from St Columba’s School visited the Food Technology Department to learn how to make bread. After a demonstration by Mrs McGinley, they made their own bread rolls under the watchful eye of Year 12 students. Great fun was had by all and the children produced some tasty and imaginative products. Feedback from a parent on the Year 6 Induction Evening suggested that at least one made it home in one piece and was delicious!

Well done to all those involved and especially to the Year 6 pupils who were polite, enthusiastic and a pleasure to meet.
