Year 13 Prom - 28 June 2013

On Friday 28th June, Year 13 students celebrated the end of their 7 years at Aquinas with their teachers at the Jury's Inn on Broad Street.  We dined in style and a good time was had by all.

Everybody looked very smart - even the teachers made the effort! We enjoyed a delicious 3 course meal followed by the speeches. Miss O'Reilly and Mrs James spoke about their memories of the year group and their hopes for us and our future.  We read a poem we had composed for the occasion of our memories and then James Norton and Tom McCann also read a poem about their 7 years at the school.

The speeches were followed by dancing and by the end of the evening every single person was on the dance floor - some dragged up by Miss Lay - with Mr Perry showing us his signature moves.  When the evening ended most of us continued to party on Broad Street although the teachers decided to retire home to bed!

It was a memorable evening, one that we won't forget and a fitting end to our time at Tommy's.
