DEAR PARENTS

A PRAYER FOR THE YEAR OF FAITH

This is our faith. This is the faith of the Church. We are proud to profess it, in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen.

A PRAYER FOR SAINT PETER AND PAUL FATHERS OF THE CHURCH
We thank you, Lord for the example given by St Peter and St Paul. May we be like St Peter and stand firm in our faith. May we be like St Paul and spread your word to others. May we strive for the courage that they showed, in giving their lives for the sake of the Church. Amen

DAVID IRELAND RIP
We were greatly saddened to hear of the death of David a former student of our school at the age of 56. David is greatly missed by his niece, Charlotte Thompson in Year 7 and his nephew, Nicholas Whitehouse in Year 11. David was planning to join us for the Golden Jubilee next weekend. We pray for the repose of David's soul and think of Charlotte, Nicholas and the whole family at this sad time. May he rest in peace.

BUGSY UPDATE

Just over a week to go! The students are excited and nearly ready for opening night. If you have not returned your child's order form, it is not too late to pre order tickets. The performance dates are: WEDNESDAY 10, THURSDAY 11 and FRIDAY 12 JULY. Pre ordered tickets will be distributed to students from Wednesday 3 July. The cast have worked incredibly hard and a big audience at each performance would be the icing on the cake! If you are not familiar with the story of 'Bugsy Malone', it is a musical comedy about two rival gangs in 1930s New York. Dandy Dan's gang are armed with the dreaded 'splurge guns' and Fat Sam's gang are proving no match with their old fashioned weapons. Blousey Brown is the new girl in town and catches Bugsy's eye. What will happen next?.... If you want to see how the story unfolds, come and see our fantastic cast.

TECHNOLOGY FACULTY EXHIBITION NEXT MONDAY

The Technology Faculty warmly invites you to our annual exhibition celebrating the success of our A-level students. Pop along, 4pm - 5.45pm on Monday 1 July for a drink and some nibbles whilst enjoying the wonderful achievements of our Art, Textiles, Graphics and Product Design students.
