The Year 8 cricket team took to the field for their first game of the season against tough opposition in Bishop Challoner. STACS batted first and through some impressive batting from Naim Luhar, Pablo Allen and Aaron Villanueva, posted a total of 55 after 12 overs. Bishop Challoner came out in attack from the off but were restricted through precise and direct bowling from Josh Vile and Gerard Henry, who captained the Year 8 team very well on the day. It was a thrilling finish with BC having to score 6 off the last over to win and, unfortunately for STACS, they did so with 1 ball remaining!
