Year 3 Primary Multi Skills Festival

On Wednesday 20th January, Hayley Hunter, Reece Chapman Carry, Michael Kenny and I attended a multi skills festival. We went to help out as young sports leaders. Throughout the day we assisted Year 3 pupils in learning different and new skills. We had to lead a warm up then demonstrate the new skill that the pupils had to follow at our station. Over the course of the day there were over 500 pupils involved, including pupils from our old primary schools, St Brigids, St Columba's, St John Fisher and St James'.

As GCSE PE students, it was a good experience as it gave us an insight into careers that involve sport such as PE teaching or sports coaching. It also taught us what it's like being in teachers' shoes for a few hours. We all had a good day and are looking forward to next week.

A huge well done to Hayley Hunter, Reece Chapman Carry, Michael Kenny and Katie Boot as they were all fantastic and are great role models for the younger pupils.
