BCP Showcase at Bishop Walsh Catholic School

On Wednesday 18th November, three of our talented musicians and thirteen of our dancers performed in a Birmingham Catholic Partnership event at Bishop Walsh Catholic School. This is an annual event and involved seven Catholic Secondary schools in the Catholic Partnership. St. Thomas Aquinas was represented by the Guitar group which involves three students in Year 10. They gave a wonderful performance of 'Skyfall' and Jessie Johnson's vocal was one of the many highlights of the evening.  In the second half, the 'Aquinas Dancers' were given the prestigious, final act of the evening. Thirteen students in Years 7-10 gave an impressive performance of 'Flashlight'. Part of the performance featured a wonderful solo dance by Tabitha Joy in Year 9. She was accompanied by some beautiful choreography by the other girls who used torches, much to the delight of the audience.

Our students were very impressive and were wonderful ambassadors for our school. Thank you to all students involved and to all the staff who helped to prepare the students for the event.
